Atamisque Catalpa Pinot Noir
Atamisque Catalpa Pinot Noir is an excellent single vineyard Pinot with gentle oak ageing. Soft and fruity with oak coming in on the back palate. Medium bodied with good acidity, well balanced with a long finish. Particularly suited to good cheese or richer fattier meats such as roast duck or pork dishes, as the acidity cleanses the palate.

Atamisque is a small quality winery in Argentina's preiere wine growing region (Uco Valley) making some excellent handcrafted wines. This Pinot Noir in their "Catalpa" range is very good. Grapes from their own single vineyard ar 1300 metres above sea level. 50% of the wine was aged for 12 months in new French oak while the rest was aged in stainless steel to retain purity of fruit.
