Mauricio Lorca Block One Cabernet Sauvignon

This Block One Cabernet Sauvignon is from Mauricio Lorca’s vineyards at Los Árboles, Tunuyán, Alto Valle de Uco,, regarded as the best area in all Argentina for growing high quality grapes.

As with the Block One Cabernet Franc the grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon were handpicked into small trays, the best grapes were selected where 75% were fermented then aged in French oak and 25% in American oak. The resulting wine is fantastic and is presented in an impressive heavyweight bottle.

Clear ruby in colour. Big black fruit flavours, well balanced and very smooth with the oak showing on the long dry finish. This is a great example of a classical Cabernet Sauvignon.
