100% Trebbiano di Lugana grapes, from 20 year old very low yielding vines from their Podere Massoni vineyard. Fermented in barriques for three weeks, then aged in new oak barriques for four months with further ageing in bottle prior to release. The wine has plenty of body and viscosity with noticeable oak. The fruit is tempered by the oak producing an elegant, balanced wine with a really long finish. Highly recommended.
